My husband and I had our wedding here in April 2024. From the second we walked into the hotel for our venue tour and met with the manager, Robert, we were enamored and knew this venue was the one. We felt transported back in time when we walked in. The venue is stunning; the staff is friendly; the food was delicious; and having the venue, after party, and sleeping arrangements all in the same space was the icing on the cake. The event staff, especially Erica, was extremely responsive, helpful, and accommodating throughout the entire wedding planning process. This venue, and the wedding day as a whole, exceeded our expectations in every way possible. I was told to expect things to go wrong on my wedding day, but I can honestly say that I don't think one thing went wrong. We cannot thank the entire GWH staff enough for all of their hard work and dedication to making our day even better than we could have imagined. Having such a perfect day made it so hard to pack up and leave the next morning, but we will cherish our memories from our wedding day at the GWH for the rest of our lives. We will have to plan to return for a stay in the hotel for an anniversary in the future.

The George Washington Hotel was an absolute delight to work with for our wedding day! Erica and Brooke were the venue coordinators and helped answer all questions leading up to our event. They were responsive and flexible, and worked perfectly with our planner and our other vendors. We had the venue from Friday to Sunday morning which made it very intimate for our bridal party. The venue itself is stunning and offered multiple spaces for the different parts of our day - ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and the afterparty were all in one building, but different rooms / areas of the hotel. The food was excellent - from the snacks delivered to the bridal suite to the reception dinner, everyone was impressed. Thanks to the GW for making our day seamless!

Words cannot even begin to describe how spectacular our experience was working with The George Washington Hotel and its staff! My husband and I got married on 04.29.23 and are beyond grateful we found this venue. It is a one-stop shop to fit all your wedding needs! They have a room for everything from the ceremony to the reception, to an afterparty. If you're looking for the elegance of a hotel but the privacy of a private venue look no further! The venue speaks for itself in its grandeur and historical beauty. Erica, our wedding coordinator, was a joy to work with! She is so friendly, professional, and extremely responsive during the entire process. The support we received from her and Rob, the General Manager, was unmatched. Everything was impeccably timed and there wasn't a detail they didn't think of. The food was phenomenal throughout the entire evening. I can't say enough positive things about Erica and this venue! I highly recommend if you're getting married in the Pennsylvania area, check this place out. You will not be disappointed!
